The New Creator Launch Checklist

Launching a page is exciting — and it's easy to miss steps that matter later. Work through this checklist before you go live and during your first month. Save it, print it, tick it off.

Before you launch: identity and privacy

• Choose a stage name with no link to your real name
• Create a new email address used only for creator accounts
• Use a strong, unique password and turn on two-factor authentication
• Decide what you will and won't show — write your boundaries down
• Set up geo-blocking for your home region if you want extra privacy
• Turn off location tagging on your camera

Before you launch: profile setup

• Upload a high-quality profile photo and banner
• Write a short, inviting bio that says what fans can expect
• Choose your starting subscription price (or free page)
• Write a warm welcome message for new subscribers
• Pin two or three of your best posts

Before you launch: content bank

• Shoot at least two weeks of feed content in advance
• Prepare a few extra sets to offer in messages
• Strip metadata from every file before uploading
• Watermark content with your creator name
• Schedule your first week of posts

Before you launch: traffic

• Pick one or two main traffic platforms to focus on first
• Set up matching usernames on each platform
• Create a link-in-bio page
• Warm up new accounts before promoting (especially Reddit)
• Read the rules of every community you plan to post in

Launch week

• Announce your launch on every platform you use
• Consider a limited-time launch promotion
• Post on your feed every day
• Reply to new subscribers personally
• Note where your first subscribers came from

First 30 days

• Post consistently — at least daily on your feed
• Post daily on your main traffic platform
• Track subscribers, earnings, and traffic sources weekly
• Ask early fans what they want to see more of
• Open a separate bank account for creator income
• Start setting aside a percentage of every payout for tax
• Review what worked and plan month two
